We believe in transparency. Here is a clear breakdown of how Criket handles your data, focusing on privacy-first local storage.
What we collect
We prioritize your privacy by keeping data on your device. Gameplay data (your level progress, streaks, word scores) is stored locally using secure storage. We do NOT collect personal identifiers like your name, email, or phone number, and we do not require you to create an account to play.
Notifications
Daily training reminders are strictly optional. If you choose to enable them:
- They are scheduled locally on your device (no external push server).
- You can customize the time or disable them entirely in the app Settings.
- You retain full control via your system's notification permissions.
Advertising
To keep Criket free, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as device identifiers and approximate location to serve personalized ads.
Note: We do not explicitly share your local gameplay data with advertisers.
Your Control
You are in the driver's seat.
Reset Data
Wipe all progress instantly from the Settings menu.
Uninstall
Removing the app deletes all local data permanently.
Future Updates
As Criket evolves (e.g., adding cloud save or multiplayer), we will update this policy. We will always ask for your explicit consent before collecting any PII (Personally Identifiable Information).
